Water transfer pump

Typically I add water to the tank by holding up this 5 gallon container. Yes it look easy when it it empty but no so when it is full with water.

I though about using a dreill pump but this pump was too slow.

So the alternative was this 12 volt pump. Some of the parts are: 12 volt pump, PVC pipe, garden hose and fitings.

I found a plastic box at Radio shack that I have mounded the pump inside. This also shows the other fitting I'm using.

With the pump, two fridge fans, two switches, and two fuses the wiring got more complicated than I had thought. I ended up wiring everything onto the barrier strip and placed in this projec ...
