To insert the larger battery box all I had to do was turn each of the "L" bracket 180 degrees.

The key to the stand was the Halogen Swivel Lamp holder by TayMac shown here. I used the swivel section. I'll mount the lamp on a outlet box and use it later on some other project.

You may need a this wrench to pull the 1 1/8" or 1 1/2" nuts on the 3/4" or 1" shafts. This can be found most places where hitch balls are sold.

Hitch balls come if a various sizes (1 7/8", 2" and 2 5/16"). They also have a variety of shaft diameters (3/4" 1" and 1 1/4") with their corresponding nuts.
