He Ruide > Finally, open both the hot and cold water faucets on the outside hose to drain out the anti-freeze and it is replaced with dilute bleach solution. The Anti-freeze should be dumped into the gray water tote and disposed of appropriately.
He Ruide > Finally, open both the hot and cold water faucets on the outside hose and fill the lines with Anti-freeze. The Anti-freeze should be pumped into a bucket and disposed of appropriately. After this is complete go back inside the PUP and turn off the pump.
He Ruide > Repeat the same procedure for the shower. By now, you may be ready for the 2nd one gallon jug or you may be into the 2nd one gallon jug already.
He Ruide > Start with the sink and turn on the hot water faucet until it runs completely pink. Note - a blown out system will not have any diluted anti-freeze. Do the same for the cold water. Let it run so the anti-freeze goes into the drain.
He Ruide > Locate your pump switch and turn on the pump.
He Ruide > At this point all the anti-freeze should be out of the lines. Go into the PUP, open the access way to the water heater and look for the bypass valve. Turn it so that the dilute bleach water can now enter the the heater.
He Ruide > Remove the black water tank and confirm it does not have black water from a previous trip. Note the Anti-freeze that is in the black water tank is from flushing the toilet.
He Ruide > Allow the sight tube to show column (an inch or more) of antifreeze. After this go into the PUP and flush the toilet until 100% pink, undiluted, antifreeze is flowing into the toilet (Not shown)
He Ruide > Remove the plastic sight tube from the rubber nipple that holds it in place at the top. Completely drain the holding tank. Swing out the fill tube and unscrew the cap to let air in as the water drains out. Reinsert the sight tube into the rubber nipple.
Finally, open both the hot and cold water faucets on the outside hose to drain out the anti-freeze and it is replaced with dilute bleach solution. The Anti-freeze should be dumped into the gray water tote and disposed of appropriately.
