Since I have a slide out the first step in folding up the canvas is to push in the slide out. This is needed so the bunkend rails will run along the slide out.
Once the slide out is in place, the slide out canvas needs to be pulled to the outside so the it doesn't get caught by the bunkend rails.
Rear bunkend with shepherd pole removed and the canvas pulled up and laying on the bunk bed
Front and slide out without shepherd poles.
Bunkend pushed in and canvas pulled all the way in and corners folded like a bed sheet.
I usually lower the roof half way to fold up the awning.
After the awning is folded up, I will push in any excess cavas inside the PUP.
This is the final stage where I will pull the excess towards the middle of the bunkend and push the canvas inside the PUP.
It is important to make sure there isn't excess canvas at the corners of the roof.
if needed the roof latch can be loosened so that it can reach the roof.
Latched and ready to go.
